Hello you all.

I wasn't here for a long time, maybe month or so - I skimmed through f-list and I'll make some comments soon enough, when I'll sort myself out. And there is a lot of sorting out, unfortunately. I am not back, don't get me wrong - I just... I don't know. Don't mind it.

Anyway I am posting here to challenge myself. In next two months I am gonna change myself as much as I can - I mean not my mind, rather my appearance and attitude. Also I'd like to finally  learn French properly.

So next two months (propably much longer is needed yet, small steps are steps lead to success, yeah?) means diet and exercises, as my fat ass is too fat for my own good.

Keep my fingers crossed!

Books, books, more books. And more English.

I started side-project recently, and maybe some of you'd be interested, so.

As you see I am not here lately. This place become rather dusty nowadays...

Anyway here http://www.goodreads.com/user/show/4919613-merrik is place you can find me - if anyone has an account, let me know. More friends = more new books:)

And basically - I don't know if I be back here. Honestly the main purpose of this journal was jrock, and this chapter ended long time ago. Also I guess I kind of grow up and I'm just unable to write about myself anymore.
Though I may use it as a place for reviews or sth alike.

And of course, my dear f-list, I love you and basically you are the last one thing (not the most fortunate word) that keeps me here.

Hope to hear from you soon;)

Anna a.k.a Merrik :)

Hi there!

So first things first:
The Hobbit. One word review? AWESOME.
(Elrond was awesome, Radagast great, and for Bilbo'n Thorin I have no words)

I bought some stuff recently (I've no money, really) and promised my lovely Soursheep small picspam. One more book hasn't come yet. But anyway:

really heavy LOTR connected pic-spam.Collapse )

Hey you, folks!

Just quick note, as I am in no mood of write long one:

Still hate Christmas coming, though I do love Hobbit premiere coming - hush, all of you from Great World who'll see it tomorrow! For me it'll be no sooner than 27th December, but really I cannot wait now!
I've read book again (tenth time it'll be, don't blame me, I really love it) and I've just started Fellowship of the Ring (after 15th time I stop counting, so I've no idea which time it is)... This world, this stories...so powerful, so...imaginative.Cannot stop reading, and bless my e-reader, cause my eyes are resting with it.

I do love Hobbit soundtrack, by the way, I'll definitely buy it sooner or later (knowing me - sooner than I'll have money for it:P)...and Song of the Lonely Mountain? Misty Mountains cold? Totally in love with! (got shivers when Thorin the Oakenshield sings)

"Christmas are coming!" said my friend cheerfully, while we were standing in our university's buffet, waiting for her order and my tin of Mountain Dew (not that I like MD. It's just a small desire from time to time to drink it).
"Yeah" I answered and that was it. Really, I still cannot understand this mess about Christmas. Maybe it's the fact I am atheist, or maybe it's the fact that spending whole two days with my family sounds more than awkward. I don't know, really. I don't hate Christmas, because they mean my uke coming from Warsaw and some meetings, Hobbit premiere (fuck that I live in Poland. Polish premiere is at 28th of December) and then New Year's Eve (which I had planned, but it seems that the plans won't work at all).
But I am not happy either. Week before Christmas will be a mess, as each year. My mother will go insane, my father will stay longer at work, sister finally doesn't live around, and I'll miss my meds more than before. It'll be harsh, exhausting and dull time. And then Christmas? Well, it'll probably be fake as before. As always. Fake smiles and fake best wishes, with no real intention on making them true. Unthoughtful presents, bought without even thinking about what might be appealing for other person and small depression during these days included.
Eh. yeah. Christmas are coming, but maybe there is a tiny chance I could just forget about them?

Well, this one is short. Only two things:P

As you know I was going to buy e-reader after Christmas, but... Long story short I'm already an owner of it. Not a Kindle (though all of you recommended it), 'cause after seeing how horribly expensive it'll be to have it delivered to Poland...well I just give up.
So I've bought Onyx Boox instead. It's nice as far as I already saw and I guess it was good choice. And his name is Watson. I've got this silly tradition to name all of my stuff - so I've ended with Hyde as laptop, Inoran as MP4 player, Stiles as mobile and Watson as reader. Before Stiles I've had J and Tsukasa. Honestly I still posses mobile named Tsukasa, but J was sold;-)

And here are my headphones (and a bit of me), which finally arrived (after one month of waiting!)

Hiya there!

My dear f-list - basically I need your advice. I started to look for some e-book reader as my eyes don't like working with phone/computer. I consider Kindle classic, but honestly I've no clue about other brands. So maybe some of you are using e-book reader and may share opinion about it? As long as it's available for worldwide shipping (or is sold in Poland) every model is fine;-)
